"This is a small town diner, but it features Laotian dishes alongside your standard prairie town fare of burgers and fries. I enjoyed the variety of lunch choices! Owner was very friendly and food came out in plenty of time for me to enjoy my meal before getting back to work."

"We went here last Friday coming from our long drive from Alberta going home to Winnipeg, just a random pick to stop and eat before heading home. A break away from fast food restaurants while travelling. The food are amazing! The service, absolutely wonderful. You can call if they are open for those who wants to make sure because it is 5mins drive going inside Oakville from highway 1. But definitely worth it. I loved the beef pho, summer spring rolls and more. Definitely a must try."

"Another random draw for Wednesday lunch, and an excellent draw it is. A nice diverse menu of Asian and Canadian foods. The Summer rolls are superb. The beef pho boat was sublime. And according to mother, the deluxe wonton soup is very good. Good prices, happy friendly staff. Absolutely will bring friends to this wee small town gem."

"For a little eatery in the middle of nowhere, this homey restaurant sure pack a diverse menu! We were driving from Winnipeg to Brandon and decided to take a short detour off the highway to try Boun's, mainly to avoid eating fast food. We ordered a couple of Laotian noodle dishes which were light and satisfying. We haven't really tried Laos cuisine before so I cannot comment on authenticity but for small town Asian cuisine, it tasted pretty good. The service was excellent, fast and friendly. Price is really reasonable and hands down I'd choose Boun's over a Big Mac meal any day!!"
